Prof. Piotr H. Skarżyński, MD, PhD, MSc, ranked eighth on the prestigious ‘List of One Hundred 2024’, recognising the most influential people in Polish medicine and healthcare. The idea for the poll, one of the country’s most important rankings of its kind, originated 22 years ago. Since then, the editors of ‘Puls Medycyny’ have held an annual gathering celebrating outstanding figures in medicine and the healthcare system.
First place in the medicine category went to Mirosław Ząbek, MD, PhD, Professor at the Medical Centre of Postgraduate Education, a specialist in neurosurgery and neurotraumatology. Health Minister Izabela Leszczyna topped the healthcare system category of the ‘List of One Hundred 2024’.
