On 27 October 2024, at the Center of Hearing and Speech Hospital in Kajetany, Prof. Daniel F. à Wengen, a world-class specialist and creator of the innovative Breathe Implant, performed demonstration surgery together with Prof. Piotr H. Skarżyński. Nine Polish doctors had the opportunity to learn about this modern technique.
The Breathe Implant is the only solution of its kind available in Poland, intended for patients with chronic nasal breathing difficulties caused by narrowing of the nasal valve. It may help people with snoring, sleep apnoea or recurrent respiratory infections.
