Professor Piotr H. Skarżyński chaired the 2nd World Tinnitus Congress and the 14th International Tinnitus Seminar, and served as scientific secretary of the 18th Scientific and Training Conference of the Audiology and Phoniatrics Sections of the Polish Society of Otorhinolaryngologists, Head and Neck Surgeons, ‘AUDIOFON 2025’, and the 13th International Academic ORLIAC Conference, held on 13–15 April 2025.
During the 18th Scientific and Training Conference of the Audiology and Phoniatrics Sections of the Polish Society of Otorhinolaryngologists, Head and Neck Surgeons, ‘AUDIOFON 2025’, a scientific session on audiology and cochlear implants covered topics including:
hearing screening and acoustic reflex testing;psychogenic deafness, hearing loss in children, and taste and smell disorders;cochlear implantation outcomes in children with rubella or herpes;hoarseness in children.The 13th International Academic ORLIAC Conference and the 3rd World Tinnitus Congress with the 14th International Tinnitus Seminar (‘WTC’) featured workshops and discussion panels on topics including:
