The formal inauguration of the new academic year at the University of Warsaw’s Faculty of Management took place on 14 October 2020. Prof. Piotr H. Skarżyński delivered the inaugural lecture, ‘Kajetany — medicine, business or something more’.
The ceremony opened with speeches by the Rector of the University of Warsaw, Prof. Alojzy Z. Nowak, and the Dean of the Faculty of Management, Prof. Grzegorz Karasiewicz.
In his lecture, Prof. Piotr H. Skarżyński described how the MEDINCUS network was created. It now comprises 14 clinics across Poland and 8 branches worldwide. He also discussed the challenges facing otolaryngology and individual activities in patient diagnosis, treatment and subsequent rehabilitation.
