‘The impact of technology on prevention and treatment — opportunities and challenges’ was the title of a panel attended by Prof. Piotr H. Skarżyński at the first Healthcare Forum, held at Wąsowo Palace on 19–20 June 2023.
The panellists discussed the need for a systematic increase in healthcare expenditure and effective use of modern technological solutions in medicine, such as digitisation and digital transformation, to improve healthcare.
Prof. Piotr H. Skarżyński highlighted the development of new technologies, including telemedicine, which enable remote diagnosis and rehabilitation and make care more convenient for patients.
The first Healthcare Forum extends discussions on healthcare held during the Economic Forum.
Participants included representatives of government and local authorities, healthcare experts, doctors and directors of medical facilities.
