Cochlear Implantation: it takes a village’. The conference took place online on 28 April–1 May 2021. The award was presented during the opening session on 29 April.

It was the only award-winning paper with a co-author representing Poland.

The abstract was selected from 350 submissions, of which 100 were subsequently accepted for podium presentation. Only nine papers received awards, demonstrating the scientific quality, innovation and potential of the findings in the study co-authored by Prof. Piotr H. Skarżyński.

Prof. Piotr H. Skarżyński has participated in these meetings for many years, establishing and developing international cooperation and promoting Polish medical achievements worldwide.
