At this year’s ‘Health of Poles’ Congress, Prof. Piotr H. Skarżyński introduced the audience to an important and continually relevant subject: new technologies in medicine. During the debate, he clearly outlined the benefits and opportunities they offer to patients and the healthcare system.
The latest patient-oriented trends in medical technology were discussed.
This year’s congress was held under the theme ‘Health prevention and innovative solutions in healthcare’.
‘Technology benefits both patients and doctors today. Its development in medicine is extremely important, but so are the skills and experience of the specialists who use it. New technologies should develop through cooperation between scientists, engineers and doctors, so that they fully serve patients,’ said Prof. Piotr H. Skarżyński during the panel.
The Health of Poles Congress 2022 presented, among other topics, strategies of government, local authority, scientific and clinical institutions, expert groups and patient organisations that significantly affect public health.
