Prof. Piotr H. Skarżyński became the first Pole elected President of the International Advisory Board (IAB) of the American Academy of Otolaryngology – Head and Neck Surgery.
‘This prestigious role enables us to shape international cooperation with centres worldwide, exchange experience among leading specialists in otolaryngology and head and neck surgery, and create a real opportunity to promote the achievements of Polish otorhinolaryngology and head and neck surgery around the world,’ emphasised Prof. Piotr H. Skarżyński.
The IAB was established in 2016. It supports the global otolaryngology community in promoting the highest standards of clinical care through cooperation in education, research and communication.
