At this year’s UCHO2024 conference in Warsaw, Prof. Piotr H. Skarżyński discussed the latest developments in ENT medicine. He noted the continuing exchange of knowledge with experts from fields including allergology, orthodontics and speech therapy, which enabled discussion of new developments in biological therapies.
One of the key topics was biological therapy for chronic rhinosinusitis, for which two new drug programmes had been developed. Prof. Skarżyński stressed the importance of appropriate patient selection to ensure effective treatment.
